What can (and can not) be protected with PC Guard for .NET?
PC Guard for .NET includes support for both Microsoft .NET and standard 32bit Windows applications while PC Guard for Win32 supports only standard 32bit Windows applications.
Compatibility:
PC Guard for .NET was successfully tested on variety of different .NET executable applications running under all .NET compatible Windows operating systems.
Compatible operating systems:
- Windows 98/Me
- Windows NT
- Windows 2000/XP/2003
- Windows Vista
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows Server 2008 R2
- Windows 7
Note: all 32bit/64bit editions of above operating systems are supported.
Supported .NET framework versions:
.NET framework 1.0
.NET framework 1.1
.NET framework 1.1 SP1
.NET framework 2.0 (all)
.NET framework 3.0
.NET framework 3.5
.NET framework 4
Supported .NET applications:
- Fully managed .NET executable (EXE) desktop applications and services.
- Mixed mode C++ .NET executable (EXE) applications.
- Fully managed .NET dynamic link libraries (DLL) (note: both main application (exe) and dll must be protected in this case)
Non-Supported .NET applications:
The following .NET applications are currently not supported:
- .NET Active X controls
- .NET WEB applications
- standalone .NET DLL's and some mixed .NET .DLL applications.
