No, we are not offering CD/DVD (or any other) media protection at all because there is no effective media protection (anything can be copied with appropriate software sooner or later) and because end user should be able to make legal backup copies of installation media.
End user will be able to make backup copies of protected software (regardless of distribution method) but he will not we able to use protected application without valid activation code. Each computer will require different activation code and protected application can be distributed by any means (cd, dvd, flash drive, Internet... )
