Product Update: PC Guard 06.00.0970 Introduces Early Error Visibility for ACEN Validation Tasks

We are excited to announce the release of PC Guard v06.00.0970, featuring an important improvement designed to give developers and system administrators greater visibility into license validation workflows.

This update introduces new option for both License Alive Report and License Validation tasks: "Display errors during threshold period."

 The Problem It Solves

In previous versions, when a validation task encountered a failure (such as network drops or unexpected server response errors) and a consecutive days threshold was set, the protected application would continue to run completely silently in the background. While this prevented unnecessary interruptions for the end-user, it also kept system administrators in the dark. Problems like local firewall blocks or internet connection drops went unnoticed until the threshold period completely expired and the application suddenly executed its final, restrictive action.

 Early Warning, Seamless Execution

The new "Display errors during threshold period" option bridges this gap by providing an early warning system. When enabled, any failure that occurs during the threshold period will immediately display the exact error message returned by the Activation Center (ACEN).

This gives your team or your end-users valuable time to diagnose and fix root network or configuration issues well before the countdown ends and the software locks down.

 Independent Configuration & Best Practices

Because flexibility is key, this option can be enabled or disabled independently for the License Alive Report and the License Validation tasks.

 How to Get the Update

The latest version of PC Guard is available for download immediately through your regular update channels. Be sure to check out our updated online documentation under the ACEN tasks settings section for a full breakdown of the new runtime behaviors.
