This is where options related to activation (standard licensing - client interface) are managed. These options are valid for all orders and licenses.

Activation center: Options: Client interface (Activation)

License reactivation

Enable or disable license reactivation feature. If required, define monthly and daily reactivation limits (0 means no limit). Limits are valid per license. For example, if monthly limit is set to 10 and daily limit is set to 1, client will be able to reactivate license no more than 10 times in a single month where license can also be reactivated only once a day.

License removal

Enable or disable license removal feature. If required, define monthly and daily license removal limits (0 means no limit). For example, if monthly limit is set to 10 and daily limit is set to 1, client will be able to remove license no more than 10 times in a single month where only single license can be removed daily.

NOTE: License removal limits are valid per order and not per license like license reactivation and license transfer limits!

License transfer

Enable or disable license transfer feature. If required, define monthly and daily license transfer limits (0 means no limit). Limits are valid per license. For example, if monthly limit is set to 10 and daily limit is set to 1, client will be able to transfer each license no more than 10 times in a single month where license can also be reactivation only once a day.

Default flexible locking policy

Flexible locking policy is used for license reactivation. If client is not able to provide valid removal code for original license but is able to obtain new site/mid codes from original computer he can try license reactivation. ACEN will use flexible locking policy to determine if client can reactivate license without contacting you and asking for replacement activation code.

This is default (system) flexible licensing policy. Custom flexible locking policy can also be defined in Program settings. If required, flexible locking policy can also be turned off so no flexible license will be enabled for protected program.

There are seven different locking parameters (locks), two software and five hardware locks. Please see PC Guard's documentation for more information about locks and flexible machine locking.

Selected lock is considered as changeable.

Maximum number of allowed hardware changes (HW changes) must be lower than total number of changeable hardware locking parameters. By default, it is set to 1 (only single change in hardware parameters is allowed).

All software locking parameters are enabled by default. Client can format drive, reinstall OS, or replace HD and still be able to reactivate license.

If flexible locking is enabled, ACEN will count changed hardware parameters (based on information extracted from new site/mid codes) and if this number is greater then maximum number of allowed hardware changes it will refuse to reactivate license and will display "Too many locking parameters are different" error message.
